Each autumn, a new crop of dried fruit and nuts find their way to our tables via Harvest Events in various communities in British Columbia and Alberta. Semiahmoo Potters Society (SPS) hosts a Christmas Show & Sale in their splendid new venue. Conceived in August 1994, the society’s goal is to bring together experienced potters to learn ceramic techniques and the skills of glaze making and firing. Twenty years later this not-for-profit continues in this objective, working out of a new 14-wheel studio in the South Surrey Recreation & Arts Centre in the South Surrey Athletic Park. The Christmas Show & Sale will feature items ranging in size and complexity, from small inexpensive pots to larger, more expensive pieces.
