Spring Break FUN

If the kids being out of school for TWO whole weeks leaves you with a few screws loose, we’re here to help. We all know how much vigour kiddos can save up when cooped up indoors. Without recess and lunch times dedicated to burning off all that banked energy that builds up over the course of a day, things can get chaotic really fast. But you don’t have to count down the days until the kids get back in class because Surrey is chock-full of spots aimed at alleviating bundles of energy from youngsters.

Sky Zone Trampoline Park knows that kids can get a big burst of energy at any given moment, so they’ve extended their hours for Surrey’s Spring Break. Enjoy Open Jumping from 11:00am to 6:00pm, along with dedicated hours for games, Toddler Time, as well as Sensory Nights on Monday evenings from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, so ALL kids can enjoy a jump. Coastal Climbing Centre offers Spring Break Climbing Camps for both weeks of Spring Break. There’s still time to pre-register for the March 20-24 session for a whole week of climbing, slack-lining, bouldering, crafts, and activities like scavenger hunts. If you’re looking for something a little more causal for the kids, Coastal Climbing Centre is also offering drop-in sessions, where no experience is required, just head down Monday to Friday between 1:00 to 3:00pm, or 3:30pm to 5:30pm and pick up a new heart-pounding activity!

For those with preschoolers and elementary school aged kids, Funky Monkey is a guaranteed blast! With fun attractions like bumper cars, laser tag for kids aged 5 and up, a massive playground, and even a pirate ship, there’s loads of fun to be had and adventures to embark on. If you’re looking to escape the house on a rainy day, Clover Lanes is perfect for the whole family. ‘Glow Bowling’ hours are offered on Wednesday, Fridays, and Saturdays, and Clover Lanes also offers bumpers so that everyone can have fun without the frustration of the dreaded gutter ball.

For some artistic focused fun, drop in to Create-It Emporium and kids can create their very own masterpiece! With hundreds of ceramics to choose from, kids can spend the afternoon painting and decorating their very own mug, plate, or bowl. Create-It Emporium offers a selection of stencils and an inspiration station to get those creative juices flowing. The best part? There’s absolutely no need to make an appointment! 4 Cats Studio also has ample opportunity for youngsters to create something with their own two hands. From Spring Camps where kids can make pots and Spring-inspired workshops where statues can be made to keep, 4 Cats truly offers that feeling of accomplishment. They also offer family workshops, so mom and dad and everyone you love can enjoy a memorable experience together.
