It was a beautiful day out in Cloverdale to take some photos, learn a little bit about Surrey’s heritage, and have a whole lot of fun in the process!
We kicked off our Discover Downtown Cloverdale Instameet on June 24th at the Fraser Valley Heritage Railway, who has the biggest collection of BC Electric Railway cars that have not only been completely restored, but are fully functional! We toured their Carbarn to get up-close and personal with trains that are in the process of being restored for future runs on the tracks. We were even treated to a ride on the Speeder down the tracks!
Then, we walked over to the Cloverdale Market Days, but not before stopping for some seriously delicious ice cream and gelato from Cloverdale Coffee Company! We toured over 100 vendors, danced along to live musical performances, and we even got in on a little bouncy-castle fun. We’re sharing just a few of the snapshots taken by the incredibly talented photographers that joined in on our Instameet!
