Paranormal Tours at the Pink Palace

You’ve all seen it, and wondered, what is that bright pink building that you can see as you drive along Highway 99 in South Surrey? Known by locals as the “Pink Palace” (it’s really pink), the hotel opened in 1992 as the Pacific Inn Resort & Conference Centre and closed in 2018. Since closing, the hotel has been used as a film location for TV shows like The Flash, Riverdale, Batwoman and Stephen King’s The Stand. But there’s more to this shuttered hotel than meets the eye. In fact, rumour has it that the building is haunted and guests and staff have reported encounters that one might call … paranormal!

If exploring the possibility of celestial beings is your thing, well you’re in luck, because the current owners of the hotel have decided to open the doors and welcome visitors to join them for a 90-minute walking tour of the Pacific Inn Hotel & Resort, currently known as Pink Palace Film. From a knowledgeable guide, you’ll learn about the history and legends of the hotel, hear about the ghost stories and sightings and see where some of your favourite shows have been filmed.  Who knows, you may even have an encounter of your own … many have!

Feeling particularly brave? Add on the “Ouija Board Experience” and settle in to one of the most haunted rooms in the hotel for 40 minutes of communication with the spirits.

Limited dates are available, and this may be your last chance before the hotel is renovated and reopened, so be sure to book soon!
