Surrey Canada Day

Everyone’s Canadian on Canada Day! This July 1 break out the red & white, start practicing your “ehs”, and head to Surrey’s Canada Day celebrations for an epic 152nd birthday party!

Western Canada’s biggest Canada Day festival has A LOT going on, whether you’ve got a junior Canuck, or you’ve celebrated a few Canada Days in your time, there’s something to pique your interest. From amusement rides and the Cloverdale Rodeo Zone, to the first annual Surrey Rides Try-Skateboarding event and a Strawberry Tea, there’s a little something for everyone.

Arguably the biggest crowd-pleasers at this annual event are the amazing performers who hit the main stage throughout the day. Canadian icons, Bif Naked and Our Lady Peace are headlining and almost every genre will be represented, from country music acts like Ben Klick and Shylo Sharity, to Bhangra dancers and performers, no matter what genre you lean towards, your new favourite artist will be hitting the stage. The Hip Show, Canada’s most authentic Tragically Hip tribute band, funk band Raincity, vintage vocal trio Beauty Shop Dolls, Surrey’s own Destination Unknown, Latin performers Asi-Somos, juggler Matt Henry, and many more will perform throughout the day.

The celebrations wrap up with a spectacular firework display.
